Team Building in Christchurch: Make Your Own Perfume

A creative team activity that everyone can enjoy, at the Arts Centre in the heart of Christchurch.

Looking for a team day that isn't another escape room or cooking class? At Fragranzi, each member of your team designs, blends, bottles and names their own perfume, guided by our studio team. It takes about an hour. Everyone leaves with a labelled bottle of a fragrance no one else in the world has.

How it works

1. We introduce our design process and 30 components to start from.

2. Each person explores fragrance notes to build their own blend, with our team on hand to help. You can optionally add custom notes from our collection of 250 additional special components.

3. We supervise the mixing and bottling of each perfume.

4. Everyone names their fragrance and prints a personalised label.

5. We keep every recipe on file, so anyone can re-order their perfume later.

Pricing

- $65 per person: 15 mL eau de toilette, named and labelled ($80 for eau de parfum)

- $100 per person: 50 mL eau de toilette, named and labelled ($120 for eau de parfum)

- Group size: we welcome groups of up to 30. Please book groups of 4 or more in advance.

- Location: 3/28 Worcester Boulevard, The Old Boys’ High Building, Christchurch Arts Centre.

- Hours: open 7 days, 10am–5pm, with after-hours sessions by arrangement.

How long does the session take?

Allow 45–75 minutes. Most people finish in about an hour.

Does anyone need perfume experience?

No. Our starter blends and genres give everyone a strong starting point, and our team guides you throughout.

What does everyone take home?

A bottle of their own perfume, named and labelled, in a gift bag. Their recipe is saved for future re-orders.
